Regis & Kelly

I'm watching the 25th anniversary show with Regis and Kelly today (don't ask why) when they bring out the old one, Kathy Lee Gifford. She looks like a plastic surgery disaster but that's not the issue. What amazes me about this program is that the house wives who watch this show accepted that Kathy Lee was replaced by a younger, firmer version of herself in Kelly Ripa. Isn't that what all house-fraus dread the most? Their husbands leaving them for a younger woman? Isn't that exactly what happened here? They didn't replace that old hack Regis with some young buck. Doesn't anyone see the irony here?

Long time reader, first time poster.
Like the black background.
Speaking of Ripa, did you see the Post article about how the NBA ref who was fixing games was cheating on his decidedly frumpy wife with a cuter newer model? Can't blame the guy. Well, I guess you can, but leave morality out of it.

A lot of the house women, believe they are the younger version themselves!

Oh the irony of it all.

Men are simple-minded and shallow. It doesn’t matter the man either; rich, poor, handsome, ugly, fat or skinny. They would all turn in their forty plus wife for a hot, sexy, twenty-something in a heartbeat if given the chance. That is just how they are wired. And for the wife out their thinking “not your husband”…yes, your man too. Get over it and move on.

men are men, but what does this say about women?

I was in a physical therapy office today and next to me was a middle-aged guy who looked like he had had a stroke getting therapy and his wife was right there by his side offering encouragement. It was touching. She apologetically told the the therapist that she wouldn't be able to make their last session because she was taking her son to view colleges. So many women are like that. But its the men who are itching to pull the plug on their spouses and move on.
